The WDW Tourist Tee and Tell All Photoshoot
It’s fantasy feelings first drop of the YEAR!
We have finally revealed our first Fantasy Feelings tee of the year and we are so so excited and thrilled to show you!
let’s start with the tee
I have been really excited about this vintage disney design for a long time and it is finally here.
We were inspired by a couple things for this vintage disney tee shirt. The first being the old purple traffic signs that Disneyworld used to have, you know the ones!! The purple ones with the red and yellow accents, how could you not love those! So we wanted to incorporate those colors into this tee!
Secondly, we were inspired by the logos and design of the shopping bags I’m carrying here! They are so tacky, wild, and wonderful that we wanted to draw alot of inspiration and bring the feeling from those bags onto our tee!
LASTLY, we were super inspired by Disneyworld in the 2000s, being a tacky tourist, and tourist tee shirts.
All of those elements combined are how we created this beautiful tee shirt.
I love the four vintage park logos including Magic kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood. I love the life of the colors, the vintage styled text, and the way this tee shirt feels like it would be sold in Disneyworld in the 2000s.
Being a Tacky Tourist has never been so Stylish.
Now for the Shoot.
Shooting this shirt in this fun and exciting way was one of the funnest times for me in the magic kingdom ever. When we first got this idea, the first place I went was EBay for all the fun props!
I searched for “vintage Disneyworld shopping bags” and scoured until I found the ones I wanted to replicate this look! I got into a couple bidding wars, made a couple offers and got all my favorite ones! I really wanted one in every main color which was the red, blue, and green, and GOT THEM!!!
Then I had to search for a bucket hat; now this was a little bit trickier becauseI could only find as a kids version in the exact one she is wearing! So after a lot of searching on Ebay (again) I finally found one like the design she was wearing but in black, which honestly I like more for me!!
The last thing I had to do was go to the Magic Kingdom and get some fun plushes!!!! So I decide to get Mickey, Goofy, and Daisy at the Emporium and I will be regifting them to my sweet niece shortly!
Once I got all the things I needed to remake this iconic Britney in Disneyworld picture, I got my digital camera out and snapped as many as possible in front of the Emporium!! This was so fun, exciting, and a joy to remake!!
Thanks for reading and I honestly hope I see people recreate this in their Fantasy Feelings tee Shirt!
Love you all,
Taylor
